Personal:
David and I have been married since 2003, we've lived in AZ, UT (BYU, Health Science), WI and now we're back to our roots in CO. We have a little boy, Grant, who was born in 2009. I have never been a runner but like to pretend I am! I'm currently teaching aerobics in my church group and working on becoming a certified Personal Trainer through NASM. I'm pretty much obsessed with Full House, DQ Blizzards and Bajio. Sadly I don't have enough of these in my life! Favorite Blogs: |

I told David that I needed to run 2miles tonight and jokingly I asked if he wanted to come. He said sure so we headed outdoors and ended up running over 3 miles. Our time was 28:37 but I'm not sure what the splits were. It was such a beautiful night and our run felt really fast, it was just nice to run together....I'm hoping we can get out some more. |

| | We headed down to Six Flags today and our ride was picking us up at the time that I normally work out so I had to get up earlier. Thanks to David for waking my sorry bum up and getting me to the gym. 4 fairly hard miles on the treadmill. 10 minute pace which I was pretty pleased with. Tons of walking (and sun) around the park today! |

4.5-7- 9:30 pace
My knees were kind of hurting but I think I just needed to stretch a little more. I also probably need some new shoes...any suggestions? The run went by fairly fast...I finally got my ipod to work and downloaded some fun songs so that helped. |

I felt really good today. It is always nice to do a shorter run after a longer one. David and I went on a bike ride by the lake...we went a little over 10 miles. It was so nice to get out and explore Milwaukee. |

Ran 3 miles outside. I tried my nike+ipod but I think it needs some tweeking. It said I ran 3 miles (true) at a 7:23 mile pace (not true). I just can't figure out what is wrong with it. I drove the route and I did 3 miles, next time I need to bring my watch and make sure the times are accurate. Maybe tomorrow.

Ran 1.7 miles outside until I about died....waayy too hot and in need of water. I don't remember my time but later in the night David and I went to the track to see how accurate my nike+ is. It's a little off so I'll have to fix that but I ran 3 miles (accurate) in 42:24 (accurate).

I'm a little sad that I kept getting slower but I was really happy with my time and how I felt. I'm a big believer in good music and cool weather! |

I decided to run out on the track....that only lasted a mile and then I called it quits. It was so hot and muggy outside. I decided to hit the gym and finish my last 4 miles. Wow what a difference air-conditioning is.

Got a late start in the morning but went to the gym and ran 8 miles. REALLY didn't feel up to it but knew I would regret going home after 2 miles. Finished strong and felt happy about time and distance.

Had the brilliant idea to run to David's work.....ugh! I left for my run at 10:00 and that was way too late in the morning. It was so humid and muggy out plus I didn't have any water for 5 miles. There were 2 really steep hills (ok they aren't that steep) but I was pushin' real hard. Anyway it felt nice to get a run in. I'm not sure my exact splits. |

5 miles on the treadmill. It has been too humid to run outside (unless I wake up at like 4 or wait to run until like 9 pm). I've also had the problem of needing water during outdoor runs and there really aren't too many places that I know of.

I was feeling really sluggish today but I think I just needed some food or something. |
