Personal:
David and I have been married since 2003, we've lived in AZ, UT (BYU, Health Science), WI and now we're back to our roots in CO. We have a little boy, Grant, who was born in 2009. I have never been a runner but like to pretend I am! I'm currently teaching aerobics in my church group and working on becoming a certified Personal Trainer through NASM. I'm pretty much obsessed with Full House, DQ Blizzards and Bajio. Sadly I don't have enough of these in my life! Favorite Blogs: |

Man oh man it's getting cold here. It wasn't that bad once I started to run. I was having a lot of knee pain but managed to run the whole time. SLOW.....which is frustrating!

| | Snowy snowy day! I ran on the treadmill tonight, it was so packed, I made an appt. for Grant to go to the daycare in the morning when the gym isn't so busy. 1-9:22 2-9:22 3-9:13 |

| | Today I was feeling great while running on the treadmill.....until one of the kid care workers had to come get me because Grant was flippin' out! Sheesh! Oh well atleast I got in a short but enjoyable run. Oh by the way I'm wanting to run a marathon on May 1. Hum....we'll see how that goes. My goal is to just finish it, I would like to beat my previous time (4:13) but really I need to just focus on finishing. Training in the winter will be interesting! |

It was 20 below with windchill so....I guess it is officially treadmill season. Lots and lots of wet heavy snow too :( 3 miles at 9:13 pace. Felt good, I don't know how to train for a marathon by just running on the treadmill. Maybe I should reconsider. |

| | 6 mile run on the treadmill. My stomach started to hurt at mile 2, it was a weird pain but went away and I actually felt great from about mile 4 on. I needed to get back home or else I would have gone a little longer. Ran 55:15, about a 9:13 pace. I feel that I could have gone faster but I wanted to make sure I got in 6 miles rather than a few faster ones. |

| | 7 miles on the treadmill. I wanted to stop after 2 but knew that if I didn't run them tonight I'd have to do it in CO while trying to visit family etc. I ended up loving this run and only stopped at 7 because I needed to get home and pack. |
